EXCELLENT! Ive used these guys for a few years on my custom van,always a great job at a great price. This year I bought myself a winter beater,wouldnt pass inspection after I bought it. It had terminal frame rust,I thought the car was a goner and I just wasted a grand. These guys did the impossible-they actually FOUND the replacement frame parts and installed them at a GREAT price! I STILL cant believe they found the parts for this dinosaur! Passed inspection,drives like new,and should last a few more years. On a scale of 10,they get an 11!!!

Gil's of Halfmoon has impressed me every time I've had my cars serviced there. They have been honest, fair, up front, professional, and thorough. They first earned my business when they fixed a problem for $150 that a dealer wanted over $2000 for. I've been back several times since, and have always been more than satisfied.

I have felt confident from my conversations with the owners and service managers at Gil's about what to expect in terms of potential repairs and approximate costs. If something can wait, they let me know. If something seems expensive, they explain the cost break-down to me. They use quality parts and offer expert service, and have even advised me on which tires I need, knowing I may not purchase them there. Gil's is trustworthy, professional, clean and friendly. I have a 2001 Mercedes and do everything I can to avoid going to Keeler. Thank heavens I found Gil's Garage. Anyone looking for a garage to service a foreign vehicle should consider Gil's. They are courteous and give honest assessments. They do everything they can to keep a satisfied customer.

I have 2 vehicles that I have had serviced at Gil's in Halfmoon and the 2 most recent visits have led me to decide to seek a new garage. The first incident was in April when I brought my 2015 Subaru Outback Limited in for an oil change. I got most of the way home & was called by Gil's to return as soon as possible for "a check that wasn't performed" and was told it should only take about 5 minutes. I returned, it took approximately another 45 minutes, not 5 minutes & my husband speculated they had put ordinary motor oil in the vehicle not the required synthetic motor oil. We were NOT impressed! Then I scheduled an appointment for tire rotation, oil/filter change & a diagnosis of a problem with the stereo system in our 4Runner. I was told I had to leave the car all day. I called to find out if the vehicle was done & was told they didn't get to the diagnosis of the stereo issue. THIS WAS THE WHOLE REASON FOR THE FULL DAY APPOINTMENT!!! Done with Gil's!!!
